The activities are designed for verbal production of the words, but teachers will find the resources helpful to assist the pupil to identify and use the irregular form, and could adapt the work sheets to include a written target.

Aims: to develop understanding and use of irregular past tense verbs with the ‘ought’ ending.

Age Range: Foundation Stage – KS 1+, 4years – 7years+.
