Introducing our latest Bilingual Assessment resource - FLAC Brazilian Portuguese

We are delighted to announce the publication of the latest addition to our popular range of FLAC [Functional Language Across Countries] bilingual assessment resources. They are ideal for use by SLTs/SLPs when assessing the early language skills of children who speak a language other than, or in addition to, English.
This Brazilian Portuguese Bilingual Assessment comes with full instructions for use, a full-colour picture book, and record forms. Vocabulary for a range of language functions is covered, including naming, activity, description and location words, negation and possession; connectivity; and polar and interrogative question forms. The record forms for each section include both receptive and expressive aspects of language as well as a parent questionnaire.

Our popular bilingual assessment FLAC series also includes Polish, Spanish, Slovak, Lithuanian, Russian, Mandarin and English and European Portuguese.

FLAC resources were developed and trialled over two years in community clinics in Belfast. The authors have extensive experience in assessment, differential diagnosis and the provision of intervention for children.
