Social Responses: Intermediate level provides activities to promote appropriate responses to common social enquiries. The pack contains twelve picture cards, illustrating common social interactions, which are designed to elicit responses and promote discussion.
This intermediate-level pack is based on role-play activities and includes extension activities.
This pack was devised by Angie Wootten, a practising teacher of the deaf for nearly 30 years.
Angie is a passionate advocate of role play and co-authored the handbook for teachers Using Drama to Teach Personal, Social and Emotional Skills (O’Hanlon and Wootten, 2007). Her MPhil was in oral communication skills.
