Now/soon/early/late, Concepts for Language Enrichment, is a set of illustrated worksheets that target curriculum time concepts.These very abstract concepts are made ‘concrete’ and meaningful for children in this pack which includes games, stories and activities for young children. Ideal for clinic, home and/or school as teaching assistant resources. Understanding and use of concepts is an important area of language development, as knowledge of concepts is essential for a child to be able to understand routines, follow instructions, learn new vocabulary and support literacy and numeracy skills.

Language enrichment is important because both formal research and anecdotal evidence clearly indicates that increasing numbers of children are entering Foundation Stage with poor language skills.
